FUCHSIA RUFFLED SKIRT

Bright and bold! Here is a colorful and feminine outfit I wore to a sunny lunch recently. I love ruffles; they’re so fun and romantic. In this outfit, I went all in with the volume as well by matching a voluminous sleeves kimono-inspired blouse with a fuchsia ruffled skirt. Ruffles plus volume is a fun fashion match.

I love playing with colors and textures in my looks. This combination of royal blue and fuchsia is one of my favorites. I own a lot of clothing pieces in these colors because they not only look great combined, but they’re also quite versatile and easy to mix with other tones.

I prefer to combine royal blue with bright tones for a more dramatic color effect. I think colors like electric green, bright yellow, fuchsia, and orange look refreshing and modern when combined with royal blue.

Fuchsia is a very powerful color: elegant and energetic. My preference when wearing fuchsia is either to go for a total look or mix it with neutral hues like white or beige for a chic and modern vibe.

In this look, I went for a tropical and romantic vibe. I was feeling a bit down, so what better way to uplift myself than with a fun outfit? I know that it works for me when I’m moody. It does work; a colorful outfit can do wonders for the mood.

I came out of the room in this outfit, and my hubby was like, “You look pretty. Love the colors!” You see, I immediately felt a bit better 🙂

KIDNESS IS CONTAGIOUS

Walking in the sunshine and getting words of approval from passers-by also helped. I mean, a stranger complimenting your outfit choice is always a boost. No one dresses for compliments, so it is so nice when someone just gives you one for what you’re wearing, right?

Kindness is such a beautiful thing, and unexpected acts of kindness are so valuable. From loved ones and strangers alike. I value so much the kind words of my partners and my family, but also from other people. I also feel like kindness is contagious. If you are kind to others, others will be kind to you naturally.

Each day I go outside, I come across so many kind people. Sometimes I’m a bit shocked. At the bakery, doing my groceries, bringing my child to school; randomly sometimes having little chats with people that I don’t know but wish me a good day or give me a compliment or smile at me…

It’s like a law of the universe. I always try to set my intention for the day/moment before I leave my house. Being kind and respectful to others is very important to me. I feel kindness is something I want to exercise daily, and it’s something that’s in my path constantly. I try to share kindness and joy with others, and by doing this, I constantly receive back what I try to put out there.

I was thinking today that it doesn’t matter how wild or colorful my outfits can be, or my hair. I had never encountered anyone in my life being mean or rude to me based solely on my appearance. Note, I am not saying there are not people like this. Luckily, I had never had a negative experience of this kind. I have traveled a lot, lived and visited very diverse countries, and never have I encountered a person or child (children are very honest, we all know that) that said to me, “Hey, I don’t like what you are wearing/how you look!” On the contrary, I always felt more than welcome wherever I go.

I am saying this because it’s my belief that when you’re emotionally balanced and the energy you want to spread around you is positive, that energy becomes confidence. Have you ever noticed that when you feel good and are in a good mood, you are not questioning your choices, clothes included?

If we are in balance, everything flows. I choose my outfits easily. “I want to wear this. I feel good in this. I feel positive and happy in what I’m wearing.” I want to spread kindness and love wherever I go.

What is the answer from my surroundings? In return, I receive immediately the energy I’m trying to put out there. I go outside, people say “hi” smiling to me. They wish me a great day. I wish them the same, and so on… There is a positive circle going around when your intentions are positive.

I like to reflect my energy in what I wear. My energy is bright, bold, and fun, and that’s what I want to share with the world!
