Our journey continued, taking us to various coastal towns. Some were enchanting, while others wore a ghostly veil, bearing the weight of the Covid-19 crisis. These towns, heavily reliant on tourism, had faced immense challenges, with closed businesses and empty streets. It served as a stark reminder of the impact the pandemic had on local economies. We carried their stories in our hearts.
As we ventured into the unknown, we stumbled upon a sign leading to a nature reservoir. And yes, you guessed it, we got lost again, thanks to Google Maps! We found ourselves on someone’s porch, laughing at the absurdity of it all. But we didn’t give up. With perseverance and humor as our guiding forces, we eventually reached our destination. And oh, what an adventure it was!
Walking hand in hand, miles away from civilization, surrounded by the wonders of nature, we experienced pure bliss. Our little one reveled in the freedom, joyfully exploring the flowers, plants, and the melody of beautiful birds. We cherished every moment, grateful for the gift of togetherness in the great outdoors. It filled our souls with happiness and reminded us of life’s simple pleasures.
As we bid farewell to the reservoir, the sunset painted the sky with hues of gold and amber. The water shimmered under the sunlight, and the beauty of the surroundings took our breath away. And here’s a funny twist to our story: while making our way back to the car, we unknowingly deviated from the official trail. We encountered no one for a long time until we stumbled upon the entrance of the reservoir once again. Turns out, our detour led us on an extraordinary adventure! We laughed at our own silly misadventure, knowing that the memories we created were worth every detour and unexpected turn.
